HMMAT® 106 - High Grade Matting Agent

HMMAT® 106 Matting agents are high performance silica developed for a variety of applications in Protective Coatings. It can purify the air, dehumidify, deodorize, sound insulation, waterproof and heat insulation, so that the product can maintain its original performance in a humid environment, increase the air permeability, and keep the appearance crystal clear. The feel is more delicate, and the color brightness and material properties have a better performance.

HMMAT Silica Product Features
Good matting effect: eliminate excessive light, control the surface gloss of the film, balance the gloss, and improve the performance of the product.
Friction resistance: Increase the friction resistance of the product, increase the abrasion resistance and scratch resistance of the film. It has the effect of removing moisture.

Packaging and storage
HMMAT® 106 is supplied in 10kg kraft paper bags. We recommend to store the product in closed containers under dry conditions and to protect the material from volatile substances.

Application method
Due to different formulations and conditions, we suggest the user to test and make sure the dosage before using. We recommend to pre-disperse in one-component system firstly, to make matting agent and water wetting completely, to avoid incomplete dispersion due to polarity reason.
