Our silicas can be used in marine and protective coatings as additives for rheology control and matting. Marine and protective coatings are applied to metal and concrete substrates to provide corrosion and fire resistance, and to protect metal structures, especially from salt water and other environmental influences. Water-based paint is an environmentally friendly surface treatment that uses water as a solvent to disperse the resins used to make coatings or paints. Water should be at least 80% of the solvent used. Its purpose is to make paint or paint an environmentally friendly product that is easy to apply. Water-based paints are widely used due to their low VOC (volatile organic compound) content.

Product features:

Good stability: This series of products is very easy to disperse, can be uniformly dispersed in low viscosity paint, and will not affect other application properties of paint. Excellent anti-settling properties due to organic surface treatment.

Low oil absorption: low oil absorption, even when the added amount is large, it has little effect on the viscosity of the system, and the post-thickening is very small.
